Bengaluru based bakery, WarmOven has raised their first round of investment that was headed by Joti Bansal, who is the founder of AppDynamics.
Co-founder of Livspace Abhishek Goyal, Angel investors, co-founders of CoCubes Vibhore Goyal and Harpreet Goyal, former CEO of Ola Financial Services and founder of Traxcn Nitin Gupta had participated in this funding round.
WarmOven delivers freshly baked cakes and desserts and is run by Kouzina FoodTech. They function in multiple kitchens of Bengaluru. WarmOven intends on function in multiple kitchens of Bengaluru. WarmOven intends on using this fund to scale technology, add more items to their menu, build a snacking space and expand their reach to cities of Hyderabad and Pune.
Kouzina Food Tech was founded by Gautam Balijepalli, which runs the WarmOven brand. Also responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company are Mahesh Madiyala, Sumit Gupta, and Rohan Rao.
The CEO of WarmOven, Gautam Balijepalli, said that the industry is undergoing a time of disorder because of digitization and delivery and the company wants to grab this opportunity to create brands throughout the country in many categories. Their brands were available for ordering online for customers in every 5-kilometer radius and they use the
distribution abilities of their delivery partners Zomato, Amazon, Swiggy, Dunzo, and Swiggy.
